Resize an Image to 1080×1080 Without Cropping
Instagram's square crop is where good photos go to lose their edges. Upload yours below and we'll extend the scene outward to a true 1080×1080 square, so the whole picture survives the post.

Why 1080×1080 Cuts Things Off
1080×1080 is Instagram's square post size, and the in-app crop tool only ever removes. On a group shot or anything with a subject off to one side, that means choosing which part to sacrifice before you post. Extending the scene instead gives you a square that still contains the whole photo — and because the image is rebuilt rather than merely stretched, it holds up when someone taps to zoom.
Instead of trimming your photo down to the shape, we generate more of the scene around it until it fits — and sharpen the whole image in the same pass.
