Remini vs Resly AI

Remini is a well-known phone app that sharpens a blurry photo in one tap, free with ads or on a weekly subscription. Resly is narrower: pay for the photos you need, with no subscription, and get them back sized for a print or a frame. We make Resly, so read this knowing that. Here is where each one is the right choice.

Where Remini is better

  • Volume. On a subscription you can enhance as many photos as you like; paying Resly per photo costs more once you're past eight or so a week.
  • Speed on a phone. It works straight from your camera roll, in one tap.
  • A free route. The free app works if you don't mind the ads.
  • Everyday photos. Selfies and snapshots meant for a screen are what it's built around.

Where Resly AI is better

  • No subscription. You pay once for the photos you upload; nothing renews and there's nothing to cancel.
  • Made for printing. Ask for 4×6, 8×10 or poster size and the photo comes back at that size and shape, extending the scene instead of cropping.
  • Old photos specifically. Tears, creases, fading and the purple cast of faded 70s prints are repaired, and black-and-white photos can be colorized.
  • No ads, and photos deleted two days after delivery, never used to train AI.

Doing this every week? There’s Resly Studio

If you'd pick Remini for the volume, Resly Studio is our version of that: credits bought ahead at a lower price per image, which never expire, rather than a weekly charge.

Credits start at $0.50 an image, as one-off packs from $10 or monthly plans from $15. Every job is kept for 7 days, and your first 3 images are free with no card needed.

Remini vs Resly AI: questions

Is Remini free?

The app is free with ads, and premium features need a subscription. On the App Store, Remini Pro is $9.99 a week, with cheaper Lite weekly plans and a monthly option.

Is there a Remini alternative without a subscription?

Resly is one: $1.99 for a photo and less for each extra in the same order, with no account and nothing that renews. Upscayl is free if you have a capable computer, though it doesn't repair damage or resize for print.

Does deleting Remini cancel the subscription?

No. App Store subscriptions renew until you turn off auto-renew in your Apple account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends, as Remini's listing says. Deleting the app doesn't stop it.

Can Remini restore old photos?

Yes, it lists repairing old, blurry and scratched photos among its uses. Resly is built around that job, and adds sizing for print, so the photo can go straight into a frame.
